UDA brigade campaigns in Kirinyaga

The UDA brigade  has   campaigned vigorously in Kirinyaga County   promising area residents of  goodies  if they  elected  its leader William Ruto as the 5th president.

Led by  its presidential running mate Rigathi  Gachagua , the  brigade landed in the country shortly after 10 am  at Rukanga village , Mwea West  Sub- County  where he castigated the Interior Cabinet Secretary  Fred Matiangi and his PS Karanja Kibicho for their alleged high handedness .

The team then proceeded to Kiangai, Kangaita and Gatugura villages where they wowed  voters to elect their candidates .

Gachagua accused the two of using their official positions and public resources to campaign for the Raila Odinga led Azimio political wing.

Accompanied by the host Governor Anne Waiguru and several area party candidates,  Gachagua put Matiangi and  Kibicho on notice that they were living on borrowed time .

“Am telling Matiangi and Kibicho to accomplish whatever they wish at this point and time since they have less than three weeks to be consigned to their respective home grounds after the August 9 general elections, “he told a  cheering crowd .

Gachagua wondered what trick the two can use in order to persuade locals to vote for Azimio if they have defied the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta since it has been decided Ruto was the ultimate favorite of the people.

Added  Gachagua”, as  for our competitor , Raila Odinga , we have  asked our  Jua Kali Artisans  to make a  special wheel  barrow into which we will buddle him into and  wheel him to his rural Bondo home where he will be consigned  away from further active politics ,”.

Waiguru on the other hand urged locals to ensure they voted six piece in order to strength Ruto’s presidency .

The governor who is defending her seat on a UDA ticket said it was only Ruto’s bottom up economic model that will address the plight of the suffering of Kenyans.

Others in the entourage included the area Woman Rep contender Njeri Maina  , Gatundu South MP Moses  Kuria  and a battery of MCA candidates .
