Azimio churning out cheap propaganda

Governor Anne  Waiguru receives a tray of eggs from a member of a Kianwe women group when she campaigned in the area yesterday

The  Raila Odinga led brigade has resorted to cheap rating propaganda after realising the UDA was far much a head, Kirinyaga Gubernatorial  candidate Anne Waiguru has claimed .

Waiguru alleged the pollster who undertook the recent research that placed Odinga ahead of his rival William Ruto churned out results which were not only unreliable and unverifiable but meant to  paint an imaginary pre-  determined election outcome .

She also said the fact that the  Mt Kenya  region does  not have a presidential candidate  this time round will result to a voter apathy was  also an imagination since the area is  UDA dominated  .

Speaking while on her  re-election campaign trail  at Kianwe village in  Kirinyaga West  sub-county Waiguru said her party remains the most popular among the rest.

“Regardless of the cheap desperate propaganda our rivals are churning out , the truth of the matter  is that people left the Jubilee which was swallowed by  Azimio long time ago and pitched tent in their  new home of comfort and joy , the UDA,” she told a cheering crowd last late yesterday .

Accompanied by a battery of UDA affiliated MCA candidates and her running mate David Wachira Kithanda , the governor assured area residents that she will ensure all the projects she had initiated and were still ongoing would be completed if returned to office.

She  also credited herself for establishing  the first ICU and HDU facilities at the newly constructed  Kerugoya level five hospital since  independence .

“I challenge any of my competitors  or any leader  in Kirinyaga County who has ever come up with such an ultra-modern facility fitted with even a mother /child Ward  where quality  health care will be the hall mark  of my leadership ,”she said.

She is  this morning headed   for Kiaumbui  area of Njukiini Ward  in Kirinyaga East Sub- County  on a similar mission .
