
Girls school posts impressive KCSE results
Kabare Girls High School in Kirinyaga County
Girls school in Kirinyaga County has posted impressive KCSE results after 255 out of the 275 candidates scored a grade C plus .
Grade C plus is the minimum University entry requirement while the 255 candidates who scored this grade and above represent 92.72 per cent transition to the institution of higher learning.
The school was some time ago when ranking of examination results was in place started for several years but slackened slightly after beating all schools in the County .
The institution and Baricho Boys high school are the only national ones in the County while Kabare has now reclaimed its glory following last year’s impressive and star performance.
Its headed by a Chief Principal Lillian Muhuni who took over from Jecinta Ndambiri when delocalisation came into effect in 2016 .
The school is located at a serene area just below St Andrews Theological Collage has the most conducive learning environment hence the peace and stability it has enjoyed over the years .
It has therefore become the darling school every girl dreams to join this school which was started on harambee basis soon after Independence by local coffee farmers and now an academic giant .
